For a long time, the administration of the home for the elderly in Peremoga asked us to find an opportunity to purchase a powerful generator, because the facility works entirely on electricity: water, heat pumps, electric stoves, freezers, washing machines, etc. The lack of electricity can paralyze all work and small generators do not allow all systems to work. Imagine the difficulties this institution faced during the blackout.
So, we at the fund reacted quickly when we saw Kviten Association and Swiss Aid to Ukraine announcement about their grant program for the transfer of generators to specialized institutions in Ukraine. The partnership had a positive result – on March 4, 2023, the 30-kW generator was delivered to Peremoga, and we left Kyiv to monitor the moment of unloading. Here is a video about it and as well as about our wards and staff of the institution living today.
