In the conditions of constant uncertainty that we are all now ‘enjoying,’ miracles become even more apparent and intense. On the eve of our visit to nursery home in the village Peremoga for the Christmas holidays, the list of visitors was reduced by four volunteers due to illness, fatigue, and other reasons. But on the day of the visit, there were three more people, four new tv-sets and a pile of delicacies for the table and exotic fruits.
In addition, in one day we received the necessary amount to purchase T-shirts and sports trousers, although we had warned the administration of the nursery home in advance that we might not be able to fulfil this part of the order immediately, so it would take time and additional effort. But Mr. Leonid and his wonderful team knocked on Telegram and proved that real gifts are sincere, unexpected, and heartfelt.
The bed linen, which we traditionally renew every year, was purchased and delivered thanks to the foundation’s regular donors, who keep our spirits up and prevent the elderly from losing faith in people.
Many thanks to the foundation’s steadfast team, which does not stop on weekends and has long been constantly concerned about a dignified and joyful life for lonely elderly people and people with disabilities!
The head of the facility, Lyubov Orel, asked us to convey that ‘you are so incredible in your resilience and ability to hold on and support all of us in these difficult times that ANGELS is your middle name!!!’
And we humbly thank:
New world men and personely to Ievgen Saveliev , Dmitry Polyanskiy, Urij Osadcij, Roman Karaschuk , Leonid Zahozhiy with a team in particular Alina Slynko, Slava Voskresenska, Iren Vermenko, Roman Kashinchar
